Meet Sophia
Sophia is a Threshold Guide and founder of Alkimia Embodied Healing Arts, devoted to supporting women in remembering their Creative Power and Feminine Wisdom through the Path of Embodiment.
A lifelong passion for the wisdom of nature, the healing intelligence of the body, and the alchemical power of the heart has led her to devote her life to exploring the magic & mystery of the Human Experience.
Her own healing journey - moving through an eating disorder, burnout, people pleasing and years of self-abandonment - revealed to her the transformative power of working with the natural rhythms in Nature as a gateway back Home to oneself.
Today, Sophia acts as a trusted guide for women who are navigating a liminal phase of life - who are tired of doubting themselves or waiting for validation, and who long to reconnect with their authenticity & vitality. She offers a grounded, soulful space for them to reconnect with their body's wisdom, reclaim their truth, and create a life that feels aligned with who they are.
She believes that when we live in harmony with our inner rhythms - integrating clarity with intuition, structure with flow - we return to wholeness. From this place, we become a force of healing not only for ourself, but for our families, communities and the world.

Vision
To create a new paradigm of living and leading and restore unity & harmony on Earth.
The Unfolding
Alkimia Embodied Healing Arts was born from my own journey of remembering — a return to my body, my truth, and to love.

For many years, I lived disconnected from myself and from my inner world. Beneath the surface of strength and independence lived a quiet but persistent belief that I was not enough, that love had to be earned, and that it was not safe to be fully seen as I was. In response, I learned to protect myself by disconnecting — from my body, my emotions, and my needs.

I ran from what I didn’t want to feel through control and avoidance.
Food, exercise, and constant movement became coping mechanisms. Travel offered freedom on the outside while keeping me far from myself on the inside. Grief, abandonment, betrayal, and shame shaped many of my experiences, especially in relationship — with my body, with men I was intimate with, with my mother, with money, and with my own sense of worth. Again and again, I was brought back to the same core wound: the belief that my authentic self was too much, not enough, or unsafe to be expressed.

Throughout my twenties, grief moved through my life like a storm. At first, it lived beneath my awareness; later, it demanded to be felt and honored. For a long time, my ego was strong and self-protective. I believed I had to figure everything out on my own, that asking for help meant weakness. Eventually, the lifestyle I had created became unsustainable. My health suffered, and the separation I was trying to avoid only deepened.

Reaching out for support marked a turning point.
I began working with mentors and guides who helped me see myself more clearly and compassionately — many of whom still walk alongside me today. I immersed myself in books, podcasts, and programs, searching for understanding. While this cognitive learning brought insight, it eventually reached its limit. I could understand myself intellectually, yet nothing truly changed if that understanding wasn’t embodied and lived.

I began to recognize how over-consumption of information was keeping me stuck in analysis and paralysis. True transformation required slowing down, listening inward, and allowing my body and nervous system to catch up with what my mind already knew. I had to release beliefs I had inherited — about worth, productivity, love, and safety — and gently rewire myself toward a new internal reality rooted in self-trust, inner safety, and unconditional acceptance.

A profound doorway in this journey was the exploration of archetypes.
Archetypal work gave language, permission, and form to the many parts of me that had long been suppressed, shamed, or misunderstood. Through the lens of archetypes, I began to understand myself as multi-dimensional — not fragmented, but rich, complex, and alive. The maiden, the mother, the wild woman, the lover, the mystic, the sovereign, the creatrix — each carried wisdom, desire, and truth that wanted to be seen, expressed, and integrated.

As I allowed these parts space to breathe and belong, something softened. Shame loosened its grip. I no longer needed to exile aspects of myself in order to be loved or accepted. Archetypal work became a bridge back to wholeness, creativity, and embodied self-permission.

Nature also became my greatest teacher and ally.
Through daily rituals and simple devotion, I reconnected with my body and heart by listening to the plants, the moon, the animals, the waters, the sun, and the stars. These relationships reminded me that I am held, guided, and supported — not as a concept, but as a lived experience. I learned to protect my energy, to rest when my body asked for rest, and to express when my soul felt called to create or speak.

I began honoring the cycles of creation — both within myself and in the natural world — allowing my life to move in seasons rather than constant striving. As I softened into my own rhythm, my body became a place of safety rather than something to control or fix. The love I had been seeking outside of myself revealed itself as something already alive within me, waiting to be embodied and expressed.

Alkimia Embodied Healing Arts emerged from this lived experience.
It is not a system or method I created, but a sanctuary shaped by integration, devotion, and remembrance. Today, my work supports women who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or at a threshold of change — women who sense that something within them is asking to be honored, reclaimed, or re-membered.

Through embodiment, Sacred Cycles, archetypal exploration, and relational presence, I guide women back into relationship with their bodies, their inner world, and their authentic expression. I walk alongside them not as an authority, but as a midwife — holding space for what is ready to be shed, welcomed, and lovingly integrated.

At its heart, Alkimia is an invitation to come home — to the body, to wholeness, and to a life rooted in truth and love.
